Lubricant under pressure is provided by the oil pump put in action from an intermediate shaft.
Oil pump
The gear pump with an internal arrangement of teeths.
Oil pressure (at a temperature of 100 °C):
– at 750 rpm: 0,075 MPas;
– at 2000 rpm: not less than 0,15 MPas.
Pressure of opening of the perepuskny valve: 0,2–0,4 MPas.
Oil filter
The replaced filter with a side channel for oil in case of strong pollution of the filtering element (by-pass).
Brand and type: Motorcraft EFL 344.
Frequency of replacement: each 10 000 km of a run.
Engine oil
Quantity: 5,5 dm3 (at the same time 0,4 dm3 in the filter).
Type: all-weather oil according to API SG/CD viscosity according to SAE 10W 30, 15W 40 or 20W 50.
Frequency of replacement (with the filter): each 10 000 km of a run. |
