3.2.1.13. Mechanical MT 75 five-speed transmission
Since November, 1988 in the Ford Sierra cars with diesel engines instead of the mechanical five-speed transmission of N type the mechanical MT 75 five-speed transmission is installed. The transmission is three-gross, a classical design has five synchronized transfers for advance (the 4th transfer – a straight line) and synchronized transfer of a backing.
