GENERAL INFORMATION

COVER OF THE HEAD OF THE BLOCK OF CYLINDERS

Since October, 1987 (a code of date of production of "HU") all diesel engines 2,3 ^{of dm3} are equipped new type with a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and laying (from silicone material).

Prevention

New laying of a head of the block of cylinders can be reused provided that it is removed very carefully and at removal it was not damaged.

At installation of laying of new type it is necessary to arrive as follows.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To carefully clear all surfaces of contact of laying with a head of the block of cylinders and a cover; to remove all remains of laying of old type.

2. To apply a path of the blue pressurizing paste (which is in packing together with laying) on the condensed surface of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders 1,5-2 mm wide.

3. To establish laying on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders and to wait 45 minutes, the pressurizing paste will not dry yet.

4. To oil the surface of contact of laying of a cover on a head of the block of cylinders

5. To establish a cover and to tighten nuts of fastening of a cover the moment of 4 Nanometers.

Prevention

Excess of this moment of tightening of nuts will cause laying damage.

MAPLE BELTS OF THE DRIVE OF UNITS OF THE ENGINE

Adjustment of a tension

Normal operation of the units of the engine put in action by maple belts requires the corresponding tension of these belts.

Prevention

If you have no the special device for check of a tension of maple belts, then it is necessary to regulate them so that when pressing by a thumb on a half of the greatest piece belts caved in on 4 mm.

FLYWHEEL

Tightening of bolts of fastening of a flywheel "on a cross" and in two stages is recommended:

– 1 stage: moment of 20 Nanometers;
– 2nd stage: moment of 100 Nanometers.
