Mechanical transmission of A type


Case of the mechanical transmission of A and V type



1 – forward part of a case,
2 – back part of a case,
3 – the directing plug of the release bearing of coupling,

4 – cover,
5 – laying of a cover

The transmission has three shaft, a classical design with four synchronized transfers forward and not synchronized transfer of a backing. The lever of gear shifting is on a floor.
In cars three versions of the mechanical four-speed transmission can be used:

 – the transmission of A type in which the case of coupling forms a single whole with a transmission case;
 – the transmission of V type in which the case of coupling forms a single whole or it is screwed on a transmission case;
 – the transmission of S type in which the case of coupling is screwed on a transmission case.

Identification

Under one of bolts of fastening of a back case of the transmission there is a plate on which designation of the version of the transmission is beaten out.

Adjusting data

The axial side play of the bearing of a secondary shaft in a back case of the transmission has to be zero; it is regulated by thickness of a persistent washer.
