6.1.2. Removal and installation of the transmission



This section concerns transmissions of all types.


1. To install the car over the viewing channel or to lift it on the elevator.
2. To disconnect a weight wire from the accumulator.
3. To unscrew the gear shifting lever handle.
4. To remove (depending on the version of equipment) the average console or the shelf about the gear shifting lever.
5. To remove an external casing of the lever of gear shifting after a detachment it from the holder, and also an internal casing together with the holder after unscrewing of a frame of the holder from a floor tunnel.
6. To disconnect the gear shifting lever from a back part of a case of the transmission.
7. To lift the car.
8. To disconnect the stabilizer from a longeron.
9. To disconnect rubber elements of a suspension bracket from brackets of fastening of a back part of final system and to record all system so that it did not load fastening of its forward part.
10. To unscrew fastening of the average bearing of the driveshaft, and also to unscrew fastenings of the driveshaft to a flange of the leading shaft of the main transfer, about the back bridge.
11. To take a forward part of the driveshaft from a back case of the transmission and to muffle the corresponding stopper an opening in a back part of a case for prevention of an effluence of oil from the transmission.
12. By means of a jack to prop up the transmission through wooden whetstones.
13. To unscrew a cross-piece of fastening of the transmission to a body.
14. To remove a spring hook of fastening of a cable of the drive of a speedometer and to disconnect a cable from the transmission.
15. To disconnect an electric wire from the switch of fires of a backing.
16. To remove a starter.
17. To disconnect a coupling cable from switching off forks.
18. To unscrew bolts of fastening of the transmission to a cross-piece.
19. To remove the jet lever of knot the engine – the transmission.
20. To disconnect the transmission from the engine and to carefully take the transmission from under the car.


1. To cover vents of a main shaft with a small amount of jellied lubricant.
2. Installation of the transmission is carried out in the sequence of the return in relation to removal process.
3. After installation it is necessary to check oil level in the transmission.
