GENERAL INFORMATION

The sizes of a nest of the vortex combustion chamber in a head of the block of cylinders


Valve saddle sizes


The head of the block of cylinders is cast from cast iron and has the inserted saddles of valves and vortex combustion chambers. Nests of bearings of a cam-shaft are executed directly in material of a head of the block of cylinders.

Diameters of openings of nests of bearings of a cam-shaft:
  – nominal:
30,500 – 30,525 mm;
  – repair:
30,575 – 30,600 mm.
Diameters of openings of nests of pushers:
  – nominal:
35,000 – 35,030 mm;
  – repair:
35,500 – 35,530 mm.
Diameters of openings of the directing valves:
  – nominal:
8,000 – 8,035 mm;
  – repair:
8,263 – 8,288 mm.

Laying of a head of the block of cylinders

Thickness of laying of a head of the block of cylinders is selected depending on a vystupaniye of pistons over the top plane of the block of cylinders, and value of the most acting piston is taken into account.

Thickness of laying is identified on the corresponding designation:

 – for blocks of cylinders with nominal diameters of cylinders: laying has cuts;
 – for blocks of cylinders with repair diameters of cylinders (+0,5 or +1,0): laying has an opening.

Installation method: laying of a head of the block of cylinders is established by the inscription "OBEN-TOP" in the direction of a head (the inscription has to be visible after laying is installed on the block of cylinders).

Combustion chambers

Vortex combustion chambers, steel, inserted into a head of the block of cylinders and fixed by means of a steel ball.

Camera type: vortex Ricardo Comet Mark V.
Vystupaniye of combustion chambers from the lower plane of a head of the block of cylinders: 0–0,061 mm.
