Bearings of an intermediate shaft
Since May, 1983 (a code of date of production "DL") the new solution of placement of an intermediate shaft in bearings in all five-speed transmissions is entered. Length of needles of bearings is changed to 25,75 mm (before 33 mm).
When replacing needle bearings in transmissions of earlier date of production it is possible to use new bearings, at the same time it is necessary to establish surely two additional (not applied in the new decision) remote rings with factory designation 839 E-7125-AA-6094966.
Prevention
Two additional rings it is necessary to have the bearing.
