3.1.3.10. System of injection of fuel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Adjustment of composition of mix of the device of injection of Bosch L-Jetronic fuel

ONS 2,0 engines of dm3 of the NRB type are equipped with multipoint system of injection of Bosch L-Jetronic fuel. It provides the constant pressure of injection whereas the dose of fuel is regulated by time of opening of the nozzles operated electronically. In the course of braking by the engine there comes automatic switching off of dispensing of fuel.

Removal and installation of the contactor of a butterfly valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To disconnect a weight wire from the accumulator.
2. To separate the socket of electric wires of the contactor of a butterfly valve, paying attention not to damage spring a clip.
3. To remove the contactor of a butterfly valve.
4. At installation it is correct to establish the contactor of rather flat part of an axis of a butterfly valve.
5. To establish washers and bolts of fastening of the contactor, to tighten them.
6. To connect the socket of electric wires of the contactor of a butterfly valve and a wire of weight to the accumulator.

Idling adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
2. To connect a tachometer and the analyzer of exhaust gases.
3. To bring engine speed to 3000 rpm, to hold it within 15 seconds and to release an accelerator pedal, having left the engine idling.
4. After stabilization of indications of devices to read the speed of idling and maintenance WITH in exhaust gases.
5. In case of need to adjust contents WITH way of turn of a bolt of adjustment of composition of mix of idling (see rice. Adjustment of composition of mix of the device of injection of Bosch L-Jetronic fuel) after removal of a seal from a flowmeter.
6. To establish a seal on a bolt of adjustment of composition of mix of idling.

Prevention

Speed of idling is regulated by the electronic EEC IV actuation device and the step engine changing as appropriate the provision of a butterfly valve. Speed of idling cannot be corrected manually.



Fuel pump

The Shiberny roller pump put in action by the electric motor. Brand: Bosch.

Compression pressure: it is higher than 500 kPa at a voltage of 12 V and the closed fuel drain.

Fuel pressure regulator

Brand: Bosch. Adjustable pressure: 250 kPa.

Working nozzles

Nozzles cope electrically. Brand and type: Bosch 85 TF-9 F 593-AB.

Adjusting data

Idling speed: 850 rpm.
