3.1.3.6. System of gas distribution

GENERAL INFORMATION

Gas distribution phases
Prevention

Phases of gas distribution are given at a working gap of valves (0,20 mm for the inlet valve and 0,25 mm for the final valve).

Engine
1,6 dm3 of LSD
1,8 dm3 of REB
OZD
22 ° before VMT
24 ° before VMT
ZZD
54 ° after NMT
64 ° after NMT
OZW
64 ° before NMT
64 ° before NMT
ZZW
12 ° after VMT
12 ° after VMT
OZD and ZZD – respectively opening and closing of the inlet valve
OZW and ZZW – respectively opening and closing of the final valve

CAM-SHAFT

Axial side play of a shaft in LSD dm3 engine 1,6
0,09 – 0,10 mm
Height of cams:
  – LSD dm3 engine 1,6
36,056 – 36,272 mm
  – REB dm3 engine 1,8
36,26 – 36,60 mm

GEAR BELT

Check of a tension

The new way of check – can be used for all engines.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Prevention

Before check the engine has to work not less, than 1/2 hours.

1. To turn (in the direction of working rotation, holding for a pulley bolt) a bent shaft on two turns and to install the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT.
2. To turn a bent shaft on about 60 ° in the opposite direction.
3. By means of adaptation 21.113 to measure a tension of a gear belt between pulleys of a cam-shaft and an intermediate shaft which has to make 4–5 units of a scale of adaptation.
