TRANSMISSION OF S TYPE

Nave of the synchronizer of transfers 3–4

Since January, 1983 (a code of date of production "DC") in mechanical transmissions of S type naves of the synchronizer of transfers 3–4 new types are applied. This change is entered for elimination of the vibrations of a ring of the synchronizer arising in not switched on synchronizer. The entered change does not influence the method of dismantling and assembly of the transmission given in subsection 6.1.5.

Fastening of a back case

Since March, 1983 (a code of date of production "DD") the back case of the transmission of S type fastens by means of bolts with a head like Torx.

In the course of unscrewing and tightening of these bolts use of the corresponding tools (Torx E12) of these bolts adapted for heads is obligatory. Use of the inappropriate tool will cause damage of a head of a bolt.
