GENERAL INFORMATION

DOHC engine lubrication system

1 – case of the oil pump,
2 – the driveshaft of the oil pump with a rotor,
3 – cover of the oil pump,
4 – asterisk of the oil pump,
5 – perepuskny valve,

Check of pressure of oil

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.

2. To unscrew the oil pressure sensor.

3. To screw up the manometer union on its place.

4. To start the engine and to check oil pressure idling and at 2000 rpm. To compare the received sizes to the required values (see section 3.1.4.3.1.5).

5. To disconnect the manometer.

6. To screw up the oil pressure sensor.

Removal of the oil pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a weight wire from the accumulator.

2. To take off maple a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of cooling liquid.

3. To unscrew a bolt of fastening of a pulley to a bent shaft.

4. By means of a stripper to remove a pulley from a bent shaft.

5. To remove the lower casing cardan chains of system of gas distribution.

6. To remove the tension device cardan chains of the oil pump.

7. To remove from a shaft of the oil pump an asterisk together with a chain.

8. To unscrew bolts with a nest of Torx of fastening of the oil pump.

9. To remove the oil pump.

Installation of the oil pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To check a state and in case of need to replace laying of the oil pump.

2. To install the oil pump with laying.

3. To screw bolts with a nest of Torx of fastening of the oil pump.

4. To turn several times a pump shaft for oil suction.

5. To put on an asterisk of the oil pump (the inscription "FRONT" on an asterisk has to be visible in front of the engine) together with cardan a pump chain.

6. To tighten a bolt with a nest of Torx of fastening of an asterisk on a pump shaft.

7. To install the tension device cardan to a chain of the oil pump.

8. To screw from the chain installed by new laying the lower casing cardan of system of gas distribution.

9. To put on a pulley a bent shaft.

10. To tighten a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft.

11. To put on maple a belt of the drive of the generator and pump of cooling liquid and to adjust its tension.

Check and oil pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove the oil pump.
2. To unscrew bolts of Torx of fastening of a cover of the oil pump.
3. To uncover the oil pump.
4. By means of the probe and a ruler to check gaps between elements of the oil pump.
	5. Check a radial gap between gear wheels.
	6. Check a radial gap between a rotor and a pump housing.
	7. Check an axial gap.
8. To take gear wheels of the oil pump and to check their state.
9. To insert gear wheels into a pump housing so that their designations were visible.
10. To establish a cover of the oil pump.
11. To tighten bolts of Torx of fastening of a cover of the oil pump.
12. To install the oil pump on the block of cylinders of the engine. Other information of rather technical characteristic, adjustment and repair of the engine is in is in subsection 4.1 and subsection 3.1.3.1.
