4.2.11.3.1. Installation of the back radical bearing

GENERAL INFORMATION

Installation of a persistent half ring of a bent shaft


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To install laying in a flute in the block of cylinders and a cover of the back radical bearing.
2. To establish a core of special adaptation (21.085) on laying.
3. To strike with the wooden hammer the flat surface of special adaptation so that laying as appropriate filled the flute provided for it and was not exposed to deformation. To level the ends of laying with the plane of the block of cylinders and covers, over this plane laying material elements should not act. To oil engine inserts with oil flutes and to lay them in nests of the block of cylinders, paying attention that they were in the same nests in which stood earlier (to observe the executed designations).
4. To carefully establish a bent shaft on inserts of radical bearings.
5. To establish covers of radical bearings No. 2, 3, 4 and 5, and also previously, without side sealants, a cover of the bearing No. 1. To tighten bolts of covers of radical bearings the moment of 110 Nanometers.
6. To arrange the indicator of hour type so that its measuring tip concerned a forward part of a bent shaft.
To check an axial gap of a bent shaft which has to make 0,08–0,29 mm.
7. In case of inappropriate value of an axial gap it is necessary to replace persistent half rings of a bent shaft. For the choice there are two thickness: 2,30 and 2,50 mm.

Installation of side sealants in a cover of the back radical bearing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To unscrew a cover of the back radical bearing (No. 1) of a bent shaft.
2. To put on side a sealant a cover of the back radical bearing, holding them by means of adaptation 21.085 and to attach a cover to adaptation.
3. To oil engine surfaces of side sealants and to press all knot to the block of cylinders. To insert bolts of a cover of the back radical bearing and to tighten their moment 110 Nanometers.
4. To check whether the bent shaft in bearings freely rotates.
5. To cut off the ends of side sealants so that they supported the lower plane of the block of cylinders on 0,5 mm. To use at the same time the metal level 0,5 mm thick which is available in a set of special adaptation.
