GENERAL INFORMATION

FUEL TANK

The fuel tank made of sheet steel is installed under a trunk floor and is kept by the plate fixed by two bolts.

Capacity: 60 dm3.

Tank mouth arrangement: on the right back wing.

Fuel type: gasoline ethylated with octane number 98 or unleaded with octane number at least 95, however at its use it is necessary to reduce surely an ignition advancing on 4 °, and also in all engines 1,3 of dm3 (JCT type) and in other, made till October, 1984, it is obligatory to refuel every fourth gas station ethylated gasoline; the engines 1,6 of dm3 and 2,0 dm3 released since November, 1984 are adapted for use of unleaded gasoline.

FUEL PUMP

The mechanical diaphragm pump is put in action by the clown of an intermediate shaft.

Fuel supply pressure: 24 – 38 kPa.

AIR FILTER

The air filter has the filtering element replaced paper located in the case from artificial material.

The replaced element of an air filtra:mark: Motorcraft, type: 71 HF 9601 BB.

CARBURETTOR

In engines 1,3 of dm3 and 1,6 dm3: the Ford carburetor (Motorcraft) with the changeable section of the diffuser, with the automatic starting arrangement and the accelerating pump put in action by vacuum in an inlet collector.

In dm3 engines 2,0: the two-chamber consecutive Weber carburetor, with the automatic starting arrangement and the accelerating pump put in action in the mechanical way.
