GENERAL INFORMATION

Lubrication system

The oil pump takes away engine oil from a case and under pressure gives it via the short channel to a full-flowing oil filter. The safety valve which is in the pump regulates the maximum pressure created by the pump. At excess of pressure created by the pump, the valve opens and bypasses oil in a case. The purified oil via the filter comes to the trunk oil main. In case of a contamination of the filter the reducing valve and a part of oil, without cleaning opens, sends to the trunk main.

From the trunk main oil on five small channels arrives to radical necks of a bent shaft. Through diagonal openings in a bent shaft oil arrives to conrod necks and further is sprayed on walls of cylinders.

From the trunk main oil arrives to an intermediate shaft and further to the ignition distributor. At the same time, engine oil through three oil pipelines moves directly to cam-shaft bearings. From the average bearing, through raspylitelny oil pipelines oil moves on all cams and levers.

Through an oil separator (2) with the adjustable valve (1) crankcase gases are taken away in an inlet collector. Ventilation of a case depends on a stream of the sucked-in air the working engine. The adjusting valve as well as the filter in an oil stopper, it is necessary to wash out in fuel through each 20 000 km of a run. Replacement of the valve needs to be made through each 40 000 km of a run of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
2. To disconnect an electric wire from the sensor of a control bulb of pressure of oil and to unscrew its sensor (in the cars equipped with the oil pressure manometer, to disconnect the union of its pipeline).
3. To screw up in an opening in the block of cylinders the control manometer.
4. To start the engine and to check oil pressure at the speed of idling and higher than 2000 rpm. Pressure of oil has to make at least 100 kPa, but it is not higher than 500 kPa.
5. To unscrew the manometer and to screw up the sensor of a control bulb of pressure of oil.

Replacement of the masyany filter

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To unscrew an oil filter from the block of cylinders.
2. To oil the surface of laying of a new oil filter.
3. To screw up an oil filter to a laying contact about the surface of the block of cylinders. Then to tighten the filter a hand on 3/4 turns.

Repair of the oil pump


Prevention

Gear wheels of the oil pump are picked up by couples and in case of need it is necessary to replace both gear wheels.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To put on a back surface of an external gear wheel (bigger) a sign for its installation in the same provision of rather internal gear wheel (smaller) in the course of assembly in what it was taken from factory packing.
2. To remove the oil pallet of the engine.
3. To remove the oil pump, having unscrewed three bolts of fastening of the pump to the block of cylinders.
4. To uncover the oil pump and to take gear wheels, and also to remove the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
5. To punch an opening in the middle of a rubber stopper of the perepuskny valve of the pump.
6. To take a rubber stopper by means of a bolt of the corresponding diameter.
7. To take a spring and the piston of the perepuskny valve.
8. To insert both gear wheels into a pump housing, observing their correct relative positioning.
9. By means of a ruler and the probe to measure gap size between the plane of a pump housing and the back planes of gear wheels. If it exceeds the most admissible value, it is necessary to replace a pump housing.
10. By means of the probe to check a gap between an external gear wheel and a pump housing. If it exceeds the most admissible value, it is necessary to replace a pump housing.
11. To oil parts of the perepuskny valve engine and to install perepuskny the valve.
12. To establish a rubber stopper of the perepuskny valve by the flat party outside. It has to be on the edge of the condensed surface of the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
13. To oil engine both gear wheels of the pump.
14. To establish a cover of the oil pump and to tighten its bolts the corresponding moment.
15. To insert the shaft transferring the drive from an intermediate shaft (the end with an asymmetrical ledge has to be directed towards the ignition distributor), into a shaft of the drive of the pump and, turning it a hand, to be convinced that gear wheels of the pump interact without jammings.
16. To establish laying and the pipeline of supply of oil to the pump.
17. To install the oil pump in the block of cylinders, tightening fastening bolts the corresponding moment.
18. To attach the oil pallet to the block of cylinders. It is necessary to begin with a bolt (A) to (In), and then with a bolt (V) to (And).
