8.6.4. Dismantling and assembly of steering transfer of CAM GEAR

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove pipelines of giving and return of oil from the hydraulic amplifier. To muffle the ends of pipelines traffic jams.
2. To disconnect tips with spherical hinges from steering drafts after weakening of fastening of lock-nuts.
3. To remove collars of fastening of casings and protective a casing from the transfer case.
4. To move a gear lath from an emphasis against the stop for removal of the oil which remained in the hydraulic amplifier.
5. To move a gear lath to extreme situation and to clamp a lath (for teeths) in a vice.
6. To remove clamps of fastening of steering drafts and to disconnect steering drafts from the gear river.
7. To unscrew pusher cover bolts, to uncover, take adjusting laying, a spring and a pusher.
8. To unscrew the lower stopper from the case of a driving gear wheel of steering transfer.
9. To unscrew a lock-nut of a driving gear wheel of steering transfer.
10. To designate the provision of a driving gear wheel corresponding to advance and also a vystupaniye of a gear lath from both parties of the case.
11. To remove a casing of a driving gear wheel of steering transfer and a lock ring of the bearing.
12. To take a driving gear wheel of steering transfer from the case together with the bearing.
13. To rotate a holder of the right bearing so far at an end face of the case the lock ring will not seem.
14. To take a lock ring of a gear lath.
15. To take a gear lath, the basic plug, the bearing and laying.

Check of a gear lath

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To check a condition of the interacting surfaces:
      – a sealing ring with shaft of a driving gear wheel of steering transfer;
      – teeths of a gear lath and driving gear wheel, and also working surface of a pusher;
      – teflon sealant of the dividing valve of steering transfer.
2. To check and wash out hydraulic the pipeline and channels:
      – the pipeline and the roundabout channel (by-pass) in the case of a gear lath;
      – dividing valve.
3. To replace the worn-out or damaged details and to grease edges of sealing rings with Calipsol lubricant.
Prevention

The teflon ring of the union of the dividing valve just before installation should be lowered in the boiling water in order that it could settle down correctly.

The driving gear wheel of steering transfer and the dividing valve are completed with couples and they need to be replaced together.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To install new laying of a driving gear wheel in the case, and also a new ring (by means of adaptation 13.010). The cavity of an opening of adaptation has to be at height of the top plane of the case of a driving gear wheel.
2. To insert a nylon remote ring and a sealant of a gear lath by means of the plug of the corresponding diameter.
3. To grease a gear lath with 40 grams of jellied lubricant.
4. To install a gear lath together with the bearing and the basic plug in the case.
5. To install a new lock ring through an opening in the case. To fix its hook for the basic plug.
6. To establish a gear lath on average situation and to fix it according to the designations executed in the course of transfer dismantling.
7. To record it is longitudinal the bearing and a sealing ring by means of a lock ring.
8. To establish the bearing casing filled with solid lubricant.
9. To screw up a lock-nut on the lower part of a driving gear wheel of steering transfer.
10. To arrange a pusher in the case of a gear lath.
11. To arrange the indicator in a bracket (15.046 and 15.009) on a razmetochny plate. To establish an arrow of the indicator on zero.
12. To install the indicator on a pusher, and its measuring tip on the case. To write down the maximum indication (A) of the indicator when moving a gear lath from one extreme situation in another.
13. Thickness (E) of adjusting laying which should be established under a pusher cover equals to the measured size (A) increased by the maximum constructional gap (F): Е = And + F, where F = 0,125 mm.
14. To establish a pusher spring, adjusting laying of a gap, laying and to screw a cover.
15. To move a gear lath to extreme situation and to clamp in a vice.
16. To connect steering thirsts for a gear lath and to establish new clamps of steering drafts.
17. To establish rubber protective a casing and to record their new collars of fastening.
18. To connect to steering drafts tips with spherical hinges and to record them from unscrewing by lock-nuts.
