4.1.5.3. Dismantling and assembly of a head of the block of cylinders

GENERAL INFORMATION

Knot of a head of the block of cylinders

1 – cover of a head of the block of cylinders,

Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To arrange a head of the block of cylinders in forward and back parts on two wooden whetstones.
2. To remove an inlet collector together with the carburetor and a tube of removal of cooling liquid.
3. To unscrew a thermal casing, and then a final collector.
4. To unscrew hairpins of fastening of both collectors.
5. To unscrew the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
6. To remove tubes of supply of oil to cam-shaft bearings.
7. To remove (adaptation 21.005 A) in the order of a spring of the lever of valves, and also levers of valves.
8. To squeeze in the order of a spring of valves (adaptation 21.005 A), to take wedges crackers of fastening of the top persistent plate of a spring. To remove the top plate and a spring of the valve, paying attention not to injure a valve neck.
9. To remove a pulley from a cam-shaft, holding a cam-shaft with a flat key for grooves behind the sixth cam. To remove persistent laying of a pulley of a cam-shaft, and also its sealing ring.
10. To unscrew two bolts of fastening of a persistent flange in a back part of a cam-shaft and to carefully extend a cam-shaft back. To unscrew the bolts forming an emphasis for the lever of valves, which are coming to an end with spherical tips. If they are used later, then it is necessary to designate them so that in the course of assembly they were established in the same places and could interact with the same levers of valves.
11. To unscrew the tension device of a gear belt (adaptation 21.012) and to remove the remote plug.

Check of the directing plugs of valves

The worn-out directing plugs of valves do not provide coaxial installation of valves in saddles that leads to significant increase in fuel consumption and oil.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To insert the valve into the directing plug and moving the valve in the cross direction to check a gap.
2. If the gap exceeds admissible norms it is necessary to make processing of the directing plug by means of the corresponding development to the next increased size. Processing of the directing plug needs to be begun with the party of the combustion chamber.
3. If the directing plugs were exposed to processing, it is necessary to install valves with cores of the increased diameter.
4. Processing of saddles of valves in a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Saddles of valves with wear tracks or a podgoraniye need to be processed with obligatory preservation of corners and sizes of a facet. Otherwise it is necessary to make replacement of a head of the block of cylinders. After any processing of saddles of valves it is necessary to carry out grinding in of valves.

Grinding in

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grinding in of valves needs to be made with use only of fine-grained polishing paste.
2. To grease a surface of a saddle of the valve with a small amount of paste and to install the valve in the corresponding saddle. To densely press to a plate of the valve a rubber sucker and to rotate the valve in one or other party.
3. After the end of process of grinding in carefully to clear all details of dirt and a pasmta and to check a saddle and a plate of the valve. The continuous opaque ring on both details which specifies valve facet width has to be visible.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To screw up hairpins of fastening of collectors, and then the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
2. To oil for gipoidny transfers of the class SAE 80/90 of a neck, cams and persistent surfaces of a cam-shaft, internal surfaces of bearing rings, spherical tips of bolts of an emphasis of the lever of valves, and also the surfaces of the lever of valves interacting with cam-shaft cams.
3. To insert behind a head of the block of cylinders a cam-shaft before installation of his necks in rings of bearings, paying attention not to damage the surfaces of sliding.
4. To screw up the bolts supporting the lever of valves and nuts protecting them from unscrewing. To oil cores of valves and guides of valves for gipoidny transfers of the class SAE 80/90. To insert the valve and to paste over with an adhesive tape of an installation site of crackers.
5. To oil engine maslootrazhatelny caps, to insert their (adaptation 21.007) and to remove an adhesive tape from cores of valves.
6. To insert in the order of a spring of valves and the top plates. To squeeze springs and to insert crackers.
7. To install the lever of valves.
8. To oil and establish a new sealing ring of the forward bearing of a cam-shaft.
9. To insert a persistent lining and a gear wheel (the strengthened party outside) on a cam-shaft.
10. To establish the springs holding the lever of valves and to adjust a gap of valves.
11. To install the remote plug, a casing of a gear belt and the tension device.
12. To screw the pipeline of supply of oil on cam-shaft bearings, the camera of removal of cooling liquid from a head of the block of cylinders, and also the thermostat (new laying).
13. To lay on laying of an inlet collector a sealing cord of 5 mm (And 70 SX 19554-BA), to establish new laying of a final collector and to screw both collectors.
14. To screw a thermal casing of a final collector.

Prevention

In case of installation of earlier used valves it is necessary to come to a new head of the block of cylinders as follows:

  – to grind in the valve and their nest;
  – to clear carefully of the paste which remained after grinding in, to oil cores of valves and then to arrive as it is described above.
