4.1.3.5. Installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Control signs for installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition of ignition

1 – constant sign,

2 – sign VMT of the piston of the 1st cylinder on a pulley

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To connect a stroboscopic lamp according to the instruction for its operation.

2. To disconnect the vacuum pipeline from the distributor of ignition (Bosch distributor).

3. To start the engine, to warm up it and to leave idling. To check value of speed of idling of the engine.

4. To check an ignition advancing corner, directing a lamp to a pulley.

5. In case of determination of the size of a corner of an advancing of ignition which is not conforming to requirements to weaken fastening of the distributor of ignition and, turning it in the corresponding direction, to expose a sign of the correct size of a corner of an advancing of ignition with a constant sign 1. In ONS engines deeper notches on a flange of a pulley are located through 4 °, and small notches are in their axis of symmetry (allowing to establish a corner multiple 2 °).

6. To fix the distributor of ignition and to check installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition.
