1. To connect the manometer for measurement of pressure of oil, with a tip with a female thread of the corresponding diameter, to a transmission case. |
2. To arrange the manometer in the car so that its indications were visible from a driver's seat. |
3. To heat (in the course of the movement of the car) oil in the transmission to normal working temperature. |
4. To check oil pressure in the transmission in operating time of the engine idling. |
5. If pressure too low, then it is necessary to check: oil level, hydrokinetic transfer, and also oil pump. |
6. If pressure too high, then it is necessary to check: engine speed idling, the vacuum pipeline between the engine and the drive of the transmission, the vacuum regulator, hydraulic knot of management in the transmission, and also oil pressure during test of an overload of the engine (see subsection 6.3.6). |
