Fastening of the cylinder of the lock

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove an internal upholstery of a door and the condensing film over the lock cylinder.

2. To remove a fixing bracket, shifting it aside.

3. To partially put forward the lock cylinder from a door, to turn up and to disconnect the plastic lever (2) (see rice. Mechanism of closing of a door) from draft of the cylinder of the lock.

4. To completely get the lock cylinder.

Installation

Installation is made in the sequence of the return to removal. It is necessary to pay attention to the correct placement of consolidation, and to establish a fixing bracket under the first ledge of the cylinder of the lock.

As spare parts cylinders of locks with the plastic lever, but without plug (3) are delivered (see rice. Mechanism of closing of a door).

Before installation of the new cylinder of the lock it is necessary to insert the plug into the lever or to install the old lever on the cylinder and to record it a lock ring.
