Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To clamp a steering column in a vice with soft cheeks.

2. To remove a casing from artificial material from a nave of a steering wheel.

3. To unscrew a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.

4. To remove a cam of the switch of indexes of turn and laying of the top bearing of a shaft of a steering wheel.

5. To disconnect a shaft of a steering wheel from the deformed plug.

6. By means of the corresponding lever to take the top and lower bearings of a shaft of a steering wheel.

7. To take the lower basic laying and a spring.

8. To take the lower nylon ring of a shaft of a steering wheel.

9. To turn a key in the ignition lock in situation "1".

10. To press a clip and to take a drum of the blocking lock of a steering wheel.

11. To unscrew bolts of fastening of the switch of ignition and to take it together with a plait of electric wires.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To check a condition of elements of a steering column (see rice. Steering) and whether the site of a shaft of hexagonal section is covered with oil or lubricant.
	2. To clamp a shaft of a steering wheel in a vice, to establish on a shaft the lower nylon ring at the corresponding distance (X = 52 mm; Y = 189 ± 3 mm).
3. To install bearings in the shaft plug.
4. To establish a spring and the lower basic laying on a shaft.
5. To install the plug, the top basic laying and a cam of switching off of indexes of turn on a shaft.
6. To establish a steering wheel on the end of a shaft, to tighten a nut of fastening and to establish a casing from artificial material on a nave of a steering wheel.
Prevention The distance between the welded laying of a shaft and the lower bearing has to make 12 ± 1 mm. In case this condition is not satisfied, it is necessary to replace a shaft of a steering wheel.
