GENERAL INFORMATION

SINK BODIES

In the majority of settlements it is forbidden to wash the car on open sites, except specially adapted places where removal of dirty water is carried out.

  – it is whenever possible urgent to wash up the dirty car;
  – before a wash of the car to soak insects and to remove from a body surface;
  – to plentifully use water;
  – to use a soft sponge or very soft brush with water supply in a brush;
  – varnish coverings cannot be washed with a stream of a strong pressure, to pour from a hose and to wash away dirt from top to down a plentiful amount of water;
  – to often rinse a sponge;
  – to wipe pure rags;
  – to apply only the good degreasing detergents. It is good to rinse with clear water for full removal of detergents;
  – for the purpose of protection for a sink it is possible to add the washing preservatives to water;
  – at regular use of detergents preservatives need to be used more often;
  – it is forbidden to wash and dry the car in the sun. Otherwise on a varnish surface there will be spots;
  – salt with which roads strew makes harmful effects on a car body therefore it is necessary to wash more often and carefully the car.
Prevention

After a wash of the car because of humidity efficiency of action of brakes decreases. It is recommended to dry brake disks short-term pressing brakes a start of motion.

CARE OF THE VARNISH COVERING

Preservation

Purely washed up and dried up varnish covering needs to be processed every 3 month the preserving means to protect the surface of the car from atmospheric influences by creation of a pore-free water-repellent wax layer.

At once to remove the flowed-out fuel, oil or lubricant, and also brake fluid, otherwise color of a varnish covering will change.

Processing of a surface needs to be repeated if water does not gather in drops, and spreads on a surface. Regular processing by the preserving means promotes long preservation of gloss of a varnish covering.

There is also other possibility of protection of varnish coverings – by means of the washing preservatives. However the washing preservatives provide reliable protection of varnish coverings only in case are used at each wash of the car and at least, than in 2–3 weeks.

After use of the washing (foam-forming) means additional processing of a surface by preservatives especially is recommended.
Prevention

Preservation cannot be made in the open sun.

Polishing

Polishing of a varnish surface is necessary only in case it faded owing to insufficient leaving, influence of dust, harmful gases, weather conditions, and the preserving means cannot restore its gloss.

It is not necessary to apply rough polishing pastes and chemically active polishing means, despite previously good results.

Before polishing the car needs to be washed up and to dry up carefully. To further adhere to the instruction for use of the polishing means.

To make polishing small sites in order to avoid premature drying of polish. After processing of a surface some polishing means it is necessary to make additional preservation. It is forbidden to polish in the open sun. Opaque varnish surfaces cannot be processed the preserving and polishing means.

Removal of spots of pitch

Pitch quickly diffundirut in varnish coverings and it is impossible to remove it completely already. Fresh spots of pitch can be removed with the soft rag moistened in flushing gasoline. In case of emergency it is possible to use usual gasoline, kerosene or turpentine. Pitch spots well are removed by means of varnish preservatives. In this case the wash of the car is not required.

Removal of insects

Insects contain substances which can damage a varnish film if quickly not to remove them. Insects can be washed away only the weak slightly warm soap or washing solution or by means of special means for removal of insects.

Removal of construction solutions. Splashes of construction materials are washed away by slightly warm solution of neutral detergents. Not to rub strongly, otherwise it is possible to scratch a varnish covering. Then carefully to rinse with clear water.

Care of details from artificial materials

Plastic details, sitting from imitation leather, a headlight, and also it is possible to wash the details painted in opaque black color with water with addition of special detergents. It is not recommended to wet. Plastic details can be processed if necessary special cleaners. Not to use nitrosolvent or gasoline at all.

Sink of glasses

To wipe glasses pure soft to rags from the internal and outer side. At strong pollution it is possible to use alcohol or liquid ammonia and warm water, and also special means for purification of glasses. At a windshield sink to lift screen wipers up.

Prevention

When using silikonosoderzhashchy means for cleaning of varnish coverings it is impossible to wipe with them glasses. At dispersion of silikonosoderzhashchy aerosols of glass it is necessary to close a cardboard or other materials.

Care of rubber consolidations

Periodically to strew the condensing or sliding surfaces with talc or to spray silicone аэрозолью. It will keep their elasticity and will exclude a scratch when closing doors. It is possible to eliminate unpleasant sounds, having wiped the adjoining surfaces with liquid soap.

Disks of wheels

Disks of wheels from light metals demand leaving especially in cold season. For this purpose it is possible to use special means for cleaning of disks. Not to apply active, acidiferous, strong and alkaline and rough cleaners or water with a temperature over +60 °C.

Seat belts

Seat belts should be washed with weak alkaline solution, without removing them. Not to subject them to dry cleaning which can cause destruction of fibers. To twist belts with automatic winding in the dried-up state, if necessary to use special an aerosol for the best sliding. It is not recommended to dry belts at a temperature over 80 °C and in the open sun.

PROTECTION OF THE BOTTOM AND CONSERVATION OF INTERNAL CAVITIES

All surface of the bottom is covered with a special protective layer. All hollow cavities are covered with special mastic. With the onset of cold weather and after a bottom sink the sheeting needs to be checked and to process in addition protective wax. Around action of centrifugal forces of wheels dust, clay and sand can accumulate. To delete the accumulated slags including salt it is extremely necessary, otherwise because of not drying-out of the polluted sites there can be a corrosion which bodies are not able to prevent a sheeting for a long time. For prevention of corrosion of a forward part of the car and driving mechanisms the motor compartment and details of the brake system and elements of steering which are in it need to be covered with the high-quality preserving wax (certainly, after washing of the engine).

Prevention

Before a wash of the engine to close the generator and a tank with brake fluid a polyethylene film. Though bearings of the generator are tight, however there is a danger of leaching by their fat-dissolving additives when processing. Noise in bearings or their failure can be a consequence of it. During operation of the car for a short time there can be a smell from combustion of the preserving wax on the details working with big thermal loading. After putting wax all hinges to wipe and grease with MOS paste.

CARE OF THE UPHOLSTERY OF SEATS

Coverings from fabric

To clean soft seats the vacuum cleaner or a rigid brush. Strongly polluted sitting to clear dry foam. To process fat and oil spots pure benzinomit stain remover. Cleaner cannot be poured directly on fabric. The spot is removed by a wipe it on a contour from edge of a spot to the center. Other pollution can be removed, using slightly warm soap water.

Leather seats

Rags from jersey and wool slightly to wet and wipe leather surfaces so that not to wet skin and seams. Then to wipe the dried surface with soft rags. Strong pollution can be removed by means of the refined detergents without lighters (2 tablespoons on 1 l of water). Fat and oil spots are removed easy dabs by means of pure gasoline.

Washed up leather sitting it is necessary to process antistatic. Before the use to shake up and put with a thin layer by means of soft rags. After drying to rub with pure and soft fabric. It is recommended to make such processing each 6 months.
