6.1.4. Dismantling and assembly of the transmission of A and V type

GENERAL INFORMATION

Gear wheels and shaft of transmissions of A and V type


1 – main shaft,
2 – secondary shaft,
3 – gear wheel of continuous gearing of an intermediate shaft,
4 – axis of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft,
5 – axis of an intermediate gear wheel of the reverse gear,

Dismantling of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove an external ring of the precision bearing of a secondary shaft from a back part of the transmission. To beat out from a back part of a case by means of the copper hammer completely secondary shaft.
2. To remove a lock ring from a synchronizer 3 nave - it – 4-oh transfers and to take a synchronizer ring, and also a gear wheel 3 transfers.
3. To disconnect a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer and a lock ring of a persistent washer of a secondary shaft.
4. To remove a lock ring of a nave of the synchronizer 1-oh-2-oh of transfers and to take a synchronizer nave.
5. To remove the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers. To disconnect a nave of the synchronizer and its spring.

Assembly of a secondary shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To insert a lock ring of a nave and the synchronizer 3 - it – 4-oh transfers. To establish crackers on a nave and to arrange opposite to each other cuts on both cones. To insert crackers of a clamp and a spring. The bent ends of two spring rings it is necessary to arrange in one cracker.
2. To insert a spring ring of the synchronizer on a nave, the synchronizer 1-oh-2-oh of transfers and to grease the synchronizer.
3. To establish on secondary to a shaft a gear wheel of the 1st transfer, and also the plug of the synchronizer and the deflector of oil.
4. To determine thickness of a spring lock ring of the precision bearing of a secondary shaft.
5. To establish a lock ring in a flute of a back part of a case of the transmission and to move it against the stop to an external ring of the precision bearing. To measure by a caliper distance between a surface of an emphasis of the bearing and the top surface of a flute of an adjusting ring. To subtract from result size bearing width for determination of thickness of a necessary additional ring. To pick up ring thickness from available spare parts (see subsection 6.1.1).
6. To fill a nest of the bearing of a secondary shaft with jellied lubricant.
7. To press the bearing and to record a lock ring.
8. To establish a speedometer drive gear wheel. The distance between the frontal surface of the precision bearing and a gear wheel of the drive of a speedometer (size A) has to make 51,20 mm for the transmission of A and 49,25 type of mm for the transmission of V type.
9. To install the synchronizer 1-oh-2-oh of transfers. Adjusting signs on a nave and a ring of the synchronizer have to settle down on one line. It is necessary to pay attention that the sliding coupling with a gear wheel of the reverse gear was directed back.
10. To establish on a secondary shaft a gear wheel of the 2nd transfer together with a lock ring, a ring of the synchronizer and a persistent washer, and also a lock ring.
11. To establish on the press on a secondary shaft a ring of the synchronizer of the 3rd transfer.
12. To establish on the press on a secondary shaft a synchronizer 3 nave - it – 4-oh transfers, longer flange of a nave directed forward and to establish a lock ring.
13. To heat a back part of a case of the transmission by immersion it in hot water and to establish a secondary shaft and a lock ring.

Dismantling and assembly of a main shaft, and also gear wheels of an intermediate shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To remove from a main shaft a lock ring and the bearing by means of a press or a stripper.
2. To cover the landing surface of the precision bearing of a main shaft with universal lubricant, to install the bearing on the press and to insert a lock ring.
3. To remove the sealing ring fixed in an external ring of the precision bearing of a main shaft by means of the screw-driver. To fill the bearing with jellied lubricant and to insert a sealing ring by means of the corresponding plug, the condensing edge in the direction of a transmission case.
4. To take an axis of an intermediate shaft, the remote plug and 19 bearing needles (the transmission of A type), and also persistent washers from two parties of the block of gear wheels of an intermediate shaft. Has transmissions of V type (the strengthened design) on 21 bearing needles and have no remote plug.
5. To insert the block of gear wheels on an axis of an intermediate shaft and to fill from two parties space between an axis and an internal surface of an opening of the block of gear wheels jellied lubricant. To insert a persistent washer, 19 or 21 bearing needle, the remote plug (the transmission of A type) and the following persistent washer.
